NO: No; it might make them urinate more and a lot of coffee can cause bladder irritation but not kidney problems.

Kidney?: Kidney would not be my first concern.  I think you should consider looking at your GI tract. If your symptoms are limited to times when you drink coffee, I would simply avoid coffee.

Kidney, yes: Coffee, no- but kidney pain typically occurs in either flank. Make sure the UTI has been completely cleared.

Probably not: In women who are considering pregnancy or who are pregnant should limit caffeine intake.  Most statement regarding this issue recommend limiting caffeine intake to less than about 200mg per day.  A diet coke has about 50mg and a small mocha from starbucks has about 70mg.

Possibly heartburn: try an over the counter acid reducer like prilosec to see if it helps

Coffee: In the absence of psychiatric symptoms, coffee seems to have health benefits, and is likely not detrimental to your health.  However, coffee can cause or worsen the symptoms of anxiety.  If you notice this happening to you I would recommend eliminating caffeine.  Coffee's energy boost may help depression, but often depression is accompanied by anxiety so pay attention to how you feel.

i drink coffee at least three times a day, and i do suffer from high pulse, should i stop drinking coffee? i can't function in a day without coffee

Accepted Answer

Coffee: After your first cup of coffee you have enough caffeine to limit side effect withdrawals. Try to drink half and half thereafter and slowly limit the amount over time. If you can limit to one a day it should not interfere with your blood pressure. Daily exercise is one of the best things you can do to maintain healthy blood pressure. My best.
