Only skin products: If you mean dettol antiseptic cream or similar product intended for application on the skin, you could probably try it. I wouldn't try any of the dettol household cleaning products, however.

Worthless: This won't help your acne. Start with topical benzoyl peroxide and/or a retinoic acid derivative. If you don't have a satisfactory result in two weeks, or if it's on your trunk or is severe, get with your physician who can add something that will work. Ignore everything you read online about acne, and if you need isotretinoin, go for it.

Can not clear up!: You can't stop it. Only control.  You can try over the counter things but start logically and record the effects of each one you try. Each one you try should be at lest three months! when you feel you have not had benefit it is time to see pcp.  Do the same but with his advice.  There are quite a few choices. You have too much oil and thick surface skin in simple terms.  Hormonal changes causing!

Customized treatment: Acne is a complex and challenging problem to treat.  No one treatment works for everyone and there is often a considerable amount of trial and error in finding the best treatment for one's acne.  A dermatologist can help decide on a good treatment plan.  For now, cleanse your face twice daily and after exercise with a gentle cleanser and do a gentle exfoliating face scrub once to twice weekly.

Don't give up: Acne can be frustrating to treat. However, usually we can find a treatment regimen to help most patients. See a dermatologist, who can help determine what treatment(s) might be best for you. Bring a list of all the things you've  tried, along with doses and how long you tried them. If you've been under the care of a dermatologist, be sure they know you aren't better. Can consider a 2nd opinion.

The acne treatments that actually work, from benzoyl peroxide to the vitamin a analogues and antibiotics, are well worth the (basically negligible) risks. If you're responsible for a young person's emotional & physical health, get them treated effectively.
