Needs eval : This isn't a usual presentation for colon cancer, since it's usually without symptoms, and doesn't happen to 17 year olds very often. There are a lot of colon conditions that need to be considered by a doctor in person to figure this one out which i'd suggest you get done early next week.

Crohn's,cancer: These persistent symptoms must be addressed by your gastroenterologist and/or your colorectal surgeon. Appropriate testing will be done. Concern is for active inflammation(Crohn's) of the intestinal tract, complications from prior surgery, or recurrent malignancy.

Could be: Hundreds of conditions can cause stomach aches.  Colon cancer is one of those conditions which can cause abdominal pain.  See your doctor for a thorough evaluation.

Depends: Early colon cancer has no symptoms. Later can develop rectal bleeding, change in bowel function with smaller loose bowel movements, and later even colon bowel blockage. Indigestion is not a common symptom of colon cancer. See a doctor for an evaluation.

Yes, but...: So can many other things! in a 24-year-old like you, colon cancer is very unlikely. Inflammatory bowel disease or an infection is more likely. But any time you have bloody diarrhea, it's time to see a doctor!

Potentially: While it would be extremely unusual for a 19 year old to get colon cancer, colon cancer can present with a wide variety of symptoms or even no symptoms at all.  If you are concerned, a good medical check up with your primary care doctor would probably be a good place to start.

Not likely Cancer: It sounds more like irritable bowel and some anal irritation or as dr brasovan suggested it could be colitis. To be sure follow up with your doctor.

Right abd pain: It could be nothing and then again it can be something.  Hard to believe they didn't completely scope your mother's entire colon.  It can be appendicitis, internal hernia, leak from the site of anastomosis resulting in an abscess.  Better go see the surgeon who did the original operation.

what are the causes for pain in the tailbone area? my tailbone area has been giving me much discomfort i've been experiencing symptoms of colon cancer, such as difficulty with bowel movements, reduced appetite, and abdominal pain. should i be worried?

: You may have coccidynia, or inflammation of the tailbone.  This can be caused by trauma.  Comfort on sitting is best handled with a "donut" hole cushion.  Your doctor should be contacted, and possibly X rays might be useful.

Not generally: Colon cancer usually does not cause any symptoms until it obstructs, bleeds or perforates. A contained perforation causes pain, but is not characterized as burning, more likely as a constant sharp pain.  If you are concerned about abdominal pain, you need to see your physician asap.
