Not direct: Hemorrhoids are not caused by coffee, but coffee can dehydrate you making stool harder to pass hence you strain and hemorrhoids can develop.

Avoid constipation: Hemorrhoids are exacerbated by constipation and the "pushing" necessary.  Foods high in fat tend to constipate you.  Foods high in fiber favor looser stools.  Fruits vegetable, whole grains are excellent sources of fiber.  Also, fiber only works if u are well hydrated.  Caffeine and alcohol can increase urination so some people feel this is not as good as water, juice etc.

Constipation.: Your question is incomplete. 
Try fiber and plenty of fluid as you been doing, if does not work, see your doctor to rule out irritable bowel syndrome with constipation that could be treated with prescription medications.

You might try: a very "simple' three week test..

It should not: No one knows what causes irritable bowel syndrome, however it should not cause your stool to be dark. I would be more concerned that there is blood coming from your colon and as the body processes it, it can look dark and tar like.  I would advise you to see your physician as soon as possible.

Again I suggest: As i've mentioned before i discourage excessive caffeine intake when dealing with any GI disorders as well as excessive alcohol intake. And that is a lifetime adjustment you need to make in order to keep things under proper control. Starbuck's hates me but oh well, so be it.

I would stay: Away from such sources as caffeine in either case as it increases acid production and dehydrates, leading to constipation and potentially worsening your symptoms. That being said colitis and irritable bowel are 2 completely different entities! they are not synonymous. Make sure your diagnosis is clearto you and your doctor.

No: They actually tend to help the problem. If ur allergic or are having more pain or discomfort with use, please discontinue and do just warm water sitz bath.
