Probably not: Very few foods consistently make acne worse, despite what you have read online. Milk can do it, if you drink enough, due to the cow's hormones. Foods containing iodine (spinach, kelp, etc.) can also do it. That said, some people have idiosyncratic reactions, so i tell my patients to avoid any food that they notice is worsening their acne.

Forgive my frankness: Acne is a chronic disease that's affected very little by diet. I see that you've already taken the best step you can possibly take and started on isotretinoin. This isn't for the faint-hearted but it should control you for several months to several years and by then you may self-cure. You've invested a lot in your self-care. Eat whichever you feel like -- you deserve it.

Dermatology consult: It is not possible to remove a scar by any means. A dermatologist can make them less visible with abrasion, injection, a laser or surgery. Hollywood's chris pine is one of many celebrity successes; other hollywood leads have chosen to keep their scars for the "tough man" effect. It's your choice.

is chicken bad for pimples or acne?

Can't blame chicken: Eating some chicken, cooked in a more healthy manner, should not alter one's acne. Of course, one should be sure that the rest of the daily foods and drinks make up a balanced diet. Avoid sugars and eat only small amounts of simple starches. Don't eat too much animal fat. Finally, be at a healthy weight, not overweight.

i got something on my face that looks like chicken pox but, they are bigger and hurt....they are not pimples and one keeps getting bigger...help!

Impetigo: It sounds like you might be dealing with a staph infection.  Do not break the pustules.  See your doctor for evaluation - you may need to have the bigger lesions drained and you may require oral antibiotics.  Until you get in to your doctor, use plain soap and water for cleaning then apply a topical antibiotic ointment to the lesions 4 times per day (neosporin, Bacitracin etc).  Do not pick!

my 9months old baby are teething....i noticed the past few days his body is covered in red pimples like a reaction to something. he is not feverish or anything so i don't think it's chicken pox or can it be?

Teething: Red pimples are not consistent with teething. Please call Pediatrician for examination/evaluation.  Also, Standard of Care is that ALL children have 1st Dental Examination at eruption of 1st baby tooth, but not later than 1st b'day. Strongly recommend that you see a Children's Dental Specialist, a Pedodontist for all the same reasons you see a Children's Medical Specialist, a Pediatrician.

Acne: If this actually is acne, you're going to need a combination of topical benzoyl peroxide and probably a systemic antibiotic for a short time. If you're a female, the birth control pill and/or spironolactone can help. If this is not trunk acne, a visit with your physician and a dermatology referral are in order. There are entities such as SAPHO that need to be ruled in or out. Good luck.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor who prescribed the medication you are taking.
