Not by itself: Only when it damages something pain-sensitive does cancer become painful. That's part of what makes it so treacerous.

Likely a lymph node: Lymph node swelling due ti infection/inflammation/ can also be a cyst. See pcp if symptoms of pain/redness infection worsen.

No: In general, no, cancer itself does not cause pain. But if cancer spreads to other organs, spreads to bones, or causes intestinal blockage or obstruction, then pain at those various sites can then occur. That would be a sign of advanced metastatic cancer.

Oral Cancer: You've bitten your tongue, you need to give it time to heal. It may take a week or two. At 23, without underlying social habits (smoking, chewing tobacco, etc) the chances of cancer is almost zero. If your sorely bitten tongue does not heal within two weeks, please see an oral surgeon for an evaluation.

Long term iv: Its a small device that sits under the skin connected to a tube that is in a large vein. Better for chemo, as it does not move, its easy to access it than sticking an arm or hand vein repeatedly. Usually does not hurt.

Not usually: Pain is not a common presenting symptom in patients with breast cancer.  Though it can be, it is not common. A tender lump could be a cyst, or (also uncommon) an infection (more common in breastfeeding patients). Definitely a good idea to see your dr and have an exam, find out if you need any imaging done, .

Hello. : Hello. Cannot make a diagnosis through this venue.  Although there can be swollen lymph nodes in that area; 1.5 inches in diameter would be much larger than expected.  If it was a fatty tumor, would not expect it to have noticeable growth over ten days.  If it is red, hot and tender, it could be an infected cyst.   I agree with the doctor who examined you. If it becomes painful, red, hot, more swollen or there is swelling or heat in the surrounding area  or you get an associated fever than you need to get it rechecked.
