since i have been taking natures bounty gummy vitamins w/biotin my urine has a very strong smell .. why?

MVI (multivitamin) has B vits in it: Check the label and see what's in it, and the B vitamin doses. That could be causing it. Also, make sure you're hydrating well. If the urine is yellowish that means you need to hydrate more, and could be from the B's. Can always ask your doctor this too.

You can figure out: Better than i. Go over changes of diet that took place on the day you noticed the smell. By eliminating new food you figure it out. Many of the time it is vegetables or spices. Also, it could be infection. No cloudy, frequent, or painful urination?

Rotten urine?: Rotten covers a wide range of semis. And means different things to different people. Some things u eat give urine a smell that some do not like.  ASPARAGUS is a common one. See if you can associate it with what tmyou eat.

Concentrated urine?: Are you drinking enough fluids? Is the urine excessively concentrated?  Are you taking any medications?  If you drink 6-8 cups of water a day and you don't take any meds and this does not correct then seek medical evaluation.

Odorous urine: There are many causes to an odorous urine. Common causes include multivitamins, dietary (eg. energy drinks, asparagus) &amp; dehydration. If you are having increased frequency and/or burning/stinging when you pass urine, you may have an infection &amp; should consult a health professional. Otherwise, in the first instance, I would suggest drinking plenty of clear fluids.

: Many foods can cause odor in urine. Reduce if there is any excess of fish, garlic. meat, onion. get urine tested for PH . if acid get it alkalinized and vice versa. Some times this works . If not pl consult a Urologist. Good luck

: There's no way to judge the cause of your incontinence. In women if is often related to past trauma during vaginal childbirth. Strong urine odor usually is the result of diet and lower fluid intake, and goes away with drinking lots of fluids to dilute the urine. It's usually not due to infection or other important health problems. But to be on the safe side, check with your doctor if it continues.
