Unless treated, yes: Untreated adhd can make it difficult to focus and concentrate on answering the questions on an iq test -- resulting in a lower score.  Appropriate treatment should normalize this.

Neither: Problems with concentration may be a component of major depression or adhd or both or neither. Adhd does not have as one if it's components a problem with someone's mood. That being said, the stimulant medications commonly prescribed for adhd can cause, as a side-effect, a disturbance of one's mood. That's why the diagnosis of adhd should not be made lightly and only by those most/best qualified.

Very Common: It's a very common and safe practice to prescribe an SSRI and a Stimulant together.

: ADHD may lead to depression and children with ADHD may have a many fold increase in clinical depression. Treatment with behavioral therapy in addition to medical treatment is recommended. Watch for signs of difficulty sleeping.

Not likely: Trazodone's mechanism of action really targets more the serotonin receptors as well as the histamine H1 receptors and a1 adrenergic receptors. It is not known to have much clinical effect on dopamine.

can i take strattera (atomoxetine) and modafinil for adhd together ? will any one of these drugs interact with the other and lower its effect ?

Combo: This is actually a good combo that I use fairly often in adult patients with ADHD.  They work synergistically and do not interact with each other. Although I've found that the new version of modafinil (named Nuvigil, armodafinil) is a little bit better because of the way it's metabolized.  Hope that helps!

in my life nothing used to work. for example, when i run, my anxiety doesn't decrease. but when i started taking concerta (adhd med) and ran again whilst being on concerta, my anxiety did decrease and i felt it. why is this happening to me ?

ADHD: ADHD is a disorder where hyperactivity or lack of focus makes it difficult to do normal things. The chaos creates anxiety. Concerta causes the ADHD person to revert back to a relaxed, focused state which allows for accomplishment of normal tasks as well as a decrease of anxiousness as the chaos is reduced.

i have adhd  and am currently taking (bupropion) . i recently upped my dosage from 150 to 300. i've had really bad side effects since then . nausea being the main one. i still have the lower dosage. my q is would it be safe to take the lower 1?

It can have many side effects.
At age of 20, you possibly are going through stresses of relationships, separation, break ups, work and finances causing anxiety.

27m taking 50mg vyvanse for adhd. get chest tightness / ache most days. hr between 60-100 throughout day. bp lower with vyvanse than without (~135/85). is the chest tightness / ache an issue?

: Vyvanse has side effect of increasing blood pressure not lowering it. Blood pressure of 135/85 is high so I wonder what your blood pressure was before taking Vyvanse. You should see your family doctor for that symptom although you are still young for significant cardiac problem.

i take strattera for adhd and my doctor added pristiq for gad off label , should i lower the dosege of strattera because i feel an increasing in anexity specially at night , i take them both at the morning?

DEPENDS ASK YOUR MD: Oh this is complicated as Strattera has some possible duplicate effects as the Pristiq. Check on the doses and may need to consider something else for anxiety/and or depression.
