: Twice a day med can be taken at 12 +/- 2 hours. i.e. 10-14 hours apart.

Maybe Maybe Not: Birthcontrol pills taken properly are a guarantee against pregnancy.  Missing a dose decreases effectiveness even more

i take nortrel 28 day. i thought yesterday was sunday and took my first pill from a new pack. what do i do now?

Don't worry: You started a new pack a day early.  No worries.  Just keep taking your pills every day (but a day early) for the rest of the month.  You can start again on Sunday with your next pack.  Best wishes!

Yes: It will still work. In fact, for my patients that do have GI sensitivity, I typically tell them that it is okay to split up the 2 pills that you take on Day 1, in order to reduce the chance of GI side effects. Best of luck.

is it okay to change the time i take my coc pills? ive been taking it every night at 7pm, but when i started on the first day of my 9th-pack of pills i decided to take it on 9pm. will it affect the efficacy of my pills?

: The change you described will not affect the efficacy of the pills.
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

i had sex yesterday around 12-1am, i took contraplanii first pill at 1:30pm, and then the second pill after 12hrs. i am three days ahead of my ovulation day. would contraplanii work? do i need to take two pills tomorrow too as a safety measure?

: It should work if you are correct in predicting the ovulating time. You do not need further dose at this point.

1-2 weeks : It takes 1-2 weeks for birth control pills to be effective. Use condoms until then.

First day is OK: You can start a new pack either on the first day of your period, or you can be a Sunday start, starting on the first Sunday after you start. The advantage of a Sunday start is that you are less likely to have a period on the weekend. with a 21 day pack, take the pill the same time each day for 21, then take nothing for a week. You will start a new pack every 28 days.

Check instructions: Plan B One-Step® is a single pill you take by mouth. It must be taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex or birth control failure. The sooner you take it, the better it works. Plan B One-Step® should not be taken as regular birth control. Plan B One-Step® is not as effective as using a regular birth control method correctly and consistently. If you have unprotected sex after taking Plan B One-Step®, it will not prevent you from getting pregnant.

currently on 7 day break with microphone pill and due to take first pill of rigevidon on sunday, will i be protected don't want to risk pregnancy?

SHould be okay: If you've been without a pill for 7 days and plan to start a new pack on sunday (assuming that is day #8) then you should be okay to have unprotected sex.  If you want to be 100% certain, then wait 7 days after starting that new pack to have unprotected intercourse.  Hope that helps!
