Probably not a wart: Warts generally don't contain pus, but they can if they become secondarily infected with bacteria.  You better see a doctor to be sure of what is really going on.

Infected.: You probably need incision and drainage of the pus followed by oral antibiotic treatment. See the same doctor who took care of the wart.

Irritated lesions: you can do warm compresses 2-3 times a day and dry area and apply antibiotic cream. Consider visiting a local physician to confirm and prescribe oral antibiotics or incision and drainage if necessary.

i have had a planters wart on the bottom/outside portion of my foot for several years. what could've caused quite a bit of puss to come out of it now?

Undermining: Perhaps the area undermined a little bit - which could happen if you've been on your feet ALOT and not taking care of yourself?? I would show this to a doctor, since you don't want to neglect a foot infection. If you have a photo or something, that would help here on Health Tap -since it's virtual. Molluscum?: Hard white core sounds like molluscum contagiosum, a minor sexually transmissible viral infection. It&#x27;s especially likely if the bumps are shiny pink and if some have dimples in the center. Or maybe folliculitis (hair follicle inflammation) from shaving. Google MC (spell it out) for photos and more info, and see your doctor for confirmation and treatment. Also need testing for other common STDs.

WHAT?????: Warts can be painful. What is a "pussy" sore? If you have a sore with pus it will drain. Warts are solid.

Genital cyst ?: A firm "bump" in the area described may be a sebaceous cyst, very common in genital and other areas.   See your gyn provider, who can easily diagnose and treat this kind of lesion.

Yes, some are: A wart is the result of a virus causing skin cells to grow abnormally. Plantar warts on the soles of the feet are usually painful. The warts commonly found on the hands are usually painless. Different viruses will cause different kinds of warts. All are usually cured by freezing with liquid nitrogen application. Skin cancer can have a similar appearance to a wart. Always have skin lesions checked.
