Pain: It could be due to a variety of things including IBS. I would see a good gastroenterologist , he should be able to help. It does not sound like ulcer disease

Can uncommonly: Ulcers usually don't cause diarrhea. Most ulcers not due to excess acid. Rare kind has too much acid production, associated with diarrhea.

Not directly: Stomach or gastric ulcers are not likely to cause diarrhea, but treatments for it can (side effects). Many of the antacid meds such as zantac/pepcid, prilosec, Prevacid (lansoprazole) etc...All can do that. Also, people having ulcers may try to change their diet which may cause trouble with stool. Diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel can ulcer-like pain too, so consult doc. Good luck.

why does aspirin cause me diarrhea? allergic? i haven't taken any nsaids in a long time so my ulcer could heal so i do not think ulcer is the reason.

NSAID's can : Be hard on the GI tract for some, even there isn't an ulcer.  Perhaps you are particularly sensitive.

NSAIDs, viruses: The most common cause is probably non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (nsaids) such as aspirin, motrin, etc.  Especially for scattered ulcers in the upper colon.  Some viruses such as cytomegalovirus can also cause ulcers.

See rheumatologist!: It sounds like you are having a horrible time!  You don't say what kind of specialists you have seen.  Be sure to see a rheumatologist, and if no help there, a hematologist.  If you have seen both these types of docs, then get a second opinion for each type.  Some conditions are harder to diagnose than others! why do voltaren (diclofenac) suppositories cause severe burning in my rectum? is this normai? or maybe due to prolonged diarrhea? i have to take suppositories because i can't tolerate oral voltaren (diclofenac) due to ulcer.

Voltaren (diclofenac) suppositori: Suppositories can cause burning not just due to their contents (voltaren) but by causing mechanical irritation or aggravating existing hemorrhoids. Voltaren (diclofenac) would be less likely to cause burning although if you have intolerance of it, it may be related to that as well.

can metformin cause ulcers? i had diarrhea but there was black/dark liquid (blood? can't tell) among normal-looking feces. i take victoza (liraglutide) as well.

Not likely: Although the most common side effect of metformin is diarrhea, it is usually not bloody or dark.  Victoza (liraglutide) can cause nausea, occasional vomiting, but not ulcers or bleeding.  You should see your doctor if this continues.

peptic ulcer, diarrhea, severe headaches and blood after painful yet minimal urination. what could be the cause ?

Hematuria: Please ask your doctor to order TODAY a urinalysis and culture, and consider initiating antibiotics for possible urinary tract infection. Any history of stones?  Have you been taking a lot of NSAID's for your headache--if so, please stop!
