my wbc count is 10120 at health check up. b4 the check up i got a severe pollen hay fever so i got a steroid shot to ease symptom. should i worry?

No: Steroid shot may increase the white count and yours was only minimally elevated.  You should be more concerned over the use of steroid shot for hay fever since there are many safer and more effective options available. Steroid shot should be used as the last resort and not as the first responder.

i am on medrol (methylprednisolone) and antihistamines, had a steroid shot 2 days ago. my wbc and neuts are high,lymphs are low h and h are low, rbc is low. being treated ?

Need more info: I think that you may be getting too many  steroids (cortisone like medications). If you are not seeing an allergist please have your family physician recommend one for you to see. At 70 years of age one does not always respond like the average person would who is much younger and the blood tests reflect that.

i was given a steroid shot  a nasan ty ear infection, . can steroids raise heart rate. it's been 112-120  for hours. can the infection cause tachycard?

Infection can/pain: Steroids are a natural stress hormone the body also makes in response to illness/stress. It shouldn't raise your heart rate, but the infection and the pain involved can release other stress chemicals ,mainly Adrenalin that does raise the rate.

24hrs if on abx : If antibiotics were given for a sinus infection a steroid injection will expedite recovery. If  however a antibiotic was not given, steroids may suppression your immune  and therefore prolong your illness.  When considering corticosteroids therapy  always confer with your physician and way the pros and cons.

Refractory Keloid: You can excise the keloid then radiate the area.  You need to see a board certified plastic surgeon and radiation oncologist.  There are associated risks but it decreases the rate of recurrence.

Water better..: But the pedialyte won't hurt.  Lot of salt though!

Not in my: Office.  It would be most appropriate to identify the cause of your "sluggishness" than to give empiric medications, especially those with major side effects like corticosteroids.

If healthy, OK: If otherwise have a normal immune system, it will not suppress your immune system to the extent that honey is dangerous.

White count: How high is your white count, you need proper workup, differential is between infection, inflammation, cancer or some other process.
