Pain: Kidney stones generally don't cause bloating. They are often silent until they start moving and then they cause severe pain in the flank along with nausea and at times blood in the urine.

laxatives: Kidney stones can cause inflammation which can lead to irritation of other abdominal organs, like the intestine.  Intestinal inflammation can lead to bloating and distention.  Drinking lots of fluids, eating your fruits and veggies and even trying an over-the-counter laxative may help.

NO: But the narcotics taken for the renal colic is probably the culprit.  Try non narcotic NSAID's

Stone pain? Unlikely: Kidney stones would likely not be responsible for stomach pain and bloating.  Also the pain from a stone would not be related to eating.  Would talk to your doctor about these symptoms and consider a GI workup.  Good luck!

Kidney stone : Your symptoms most likely is GI related though some of it can be from kidney stones. You can get test done for evaluation and see your doctor.

Probably: If your ct scan shows kidney stones, yes, they are most likely causing kidney or flank pain, nausea.  If they don't pass on their own, you might see about getting a urology referral.

Yes: There can be a myriad of reasons a person produces kidney stones.  Dietary factors and hydration play a role, but in most case, there is some metabolic predisposition.  Having a family member who had kidney stones increases one's risk of having stones as well.  A work-up to determine the cause of stones is warranted if you have had more than one episode.  See your urologist.
