Diet/exercise, and..: Make sure your thyroid condition is treated/regulated.  At first, hashimoto may cause excess thyroid hormone release and you actually may lose wt. Eventually it :"burns" out and you can become hypothyroid (not enough) which can easily be treated with medication.
Once thyroid is properly regulated, healthy, balanced diet, along with aerobic/wt bearing exercise will help.

i have hashimotos disease&take levothyroxin nd im on 200mcg.just had blood work done nd dr lowerd it to 150mcg what will happen if i keep takin the 200mcg.nd not 150mcg.is it bad?

Yes: The goal of treatment of hypothyroidism is to obtain normal thyroid levels. This is what your doctor was trying to do adjusting your dosage based on the results of your thyroid function tests. Elevated thyroid levels can be harmful increasing the chances of certain heart arrhythmias as well as the risk of osteoporosis.

Hypothyroidism: when you are on medication for hypothyroidism, goal for treatment is to keep TSH around 1.5-2.

Dysphagia : Swallowing difficulties can be due to a lot of things. I would not just assume that it  is your thyroid causing your  problem. You should be seen by an ENT doctor to obtain a complete history, physical, fiber-optic laryngoscopy, and other indicated studies to assess your swallowing difficulty.

No: Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an autoimmune disease of the thyroid that can result in hypothyroidism.  However, early in the course of the disease, one might only see an enlarged thyroid and high thyroid antibodies.  No treatment is indicated until thyroid levels become abnormal.  They can go high initially rather than low.  There is no treatment for the autoimmune part of the disorder.

Not exactly: Hashimotos, type ii diabetes, and pcos are all autoimmune diseases and recent research suggests there may be a genetic link.  Nonetheless, on a clinical basis, hashimotos and pcos are independent issues.  Diabetes and pcos, however, are closely linked.  The risk factors are similar for both, such as being overweight and carbohydrate insensitive.  With your family history, watch your life style!

Yes but: If the thyroid level is normal, then your symptoms are not caused by the thyroid but something else. Although you may be at a somewhat higher risk to develop another autoimmune disease , your problem may or may not be an autoimmune one.

Costovertebral: It's possible that your strained your costovertebral joint/s (where your ribs meet your spine). Usually this resolves spontaneously, but can hurt with deep breathing and movement. If it doesn't improve in a few days, please see your PCP for evaluation.

Need dose adjustment: Sounds like you are still suffering from symptoms of hypothyroidism despite taking thyroid replacement. You need to check your thyroid function tests and increase the doses of the supplements if thyroid levels in your blood remain low.
