Maybe: Genital warts cam be localized or spread over a large area. If warts are not destroyed they may recur in the same area. There can also be genital warts that are not noticeable several inches away which will show weeks or months later. General warts need treatment and may require followup over a period of time.

Not warts?: You cannot pop out anything from a wart. If you do, then it's not genital warts. Genital warts can return after a month's absence.

Be compliant: Back in the bad old days, 30, 000 women died of cancer of the cervix in the usa alone, many of them young. You should be concerned and very eager to comply with treatment, but not paralyzed with fear. Do what you know you must, and you are almost certain to survive this.

Basics: It takes about 2 yrs for a primary HPV infection to clear in those with a normal immune system. That is whether or not you have visible warts removed.You do not have to have visible warts to spread the disease. An infected person would rarely pass them after that 2 yr interval unless infected with another of the ~4 HPV strains that can produce genital warts.

Genital warts: Genital warts sometimes recur, but usually not. There are no health habits or lifestyles that make a difference, as far as we know. Not smoking may be important -- keep it up! Stay generally healthy, exercise, sleep well -- these are good health habits and possibly might make wart recurrence less likely. But don't freak out if you can't maintain the program. Probably doeesn't make any difference.

why does my genital warts come back every 5 years or so? stress? should i be concerned my body doesnt fully clear it? just feel defeated about it all any help would be appreciated?

: First, make sure your apparent recurrent warts are truly warts, i.e. professionally diagnosed. Assuming they are warts:  delayed recurrence is not all that rare and usually there is no known cause; it appears to be random. Although nobody wants warts, this shouldn't be such a big deal; just have them treated again and try to view this as an inconvenience, not a serious health problem. Good luck.

Yes: Genital warts are treatable and may never come back, but they do frequently come back. Over time though your immune system will keep them from coming back.

Yes: Yes to almost all of your questions. Genital warts can at  times resolve by themselves. They are usually spread through sex. And can cause cervical cancer in addition to throat or tonsil cancer.

HPV vaccine: Most people are able to eliminate the virus and that virus does not return. However, depending on exposure to other strains, you may have recurrence of warts due to infection with a different strain.
Get HPV vaccine and practice safe sex.

No that I'm : Aware of. Douching on the other hand can some time lead to other problems.
