Not like Flu can!: Typically, the most you'll get is a little soreness at the site of the shot. Low fever, mild rash, or a little "yucky" feeling for a day or so may happen, but flu shots can not give you the flu. Period. It's a dead vaccine and can't cause the flu. The risk of getting the sick and getting bad complications is sooo much higher with the flu compared to any form of the vaccine. No comparison.

It is NOT the flu, flu is an entirely different animal.  High fever, severe aches and pains where it hurts to move, cough and other respiratory symptoms that can last weeks.  It is a misery that is best avoided.

Get your flu shot: Your immune system can "multitask".  It is unlikely at this point of the season that you have genuine influenza, and your immune system can handle whatever cold you might have currently and, as well, the inactive (dead) virus-particles that constitute the influenza vaccination.

It does, but it only stops you from getting sick with the flu, and nothing else.  There are many, many illnesses, and the flu shot protects you from the flu.
