Black Mouth: Smoking stains the tissues of your mouth, especially your tongue. It does worse to your lungs and the rest of your body! licorice can also stain the tissues black.

Not really: They may be better than regular smoking , but some contain non healthy ingredients as  well. Speak to your doctor and show him the brand that you might intend to use and get his opinion as well.

Better than tobacco: I wouldn't say that electronic cigarettes are "good" for your health, but electronic cigarettes do not contain the carcinogens that tobacco smoke have.  So, it is definitely better for your health than smoking tobacco.

Vapor vs Smoke: Electronic Cigarettes ARE Smokeless.   They create vapor from liquid on heated coils NOT smoke from incomplete combustion.   You can control and minimize the number of toxic substances in vapor but NOT in smoke.  Cigarette smoke has 4000+ compounds.  Vapor from ecigarettes or APVs using flavorless nicotine liquid has only 2 compounds -- vegetable glycerin and nicotine.

Yes, but...: Electronic cigarettes eliminate tobacco from the equation which does make them "safer" theoretically.  Remember that they still burn nicotine which is an addictive stimulant and is associated with heart disease and death.  The "reduced risks" are not completely clear at this point but both regular and electronic cigarettes are bad for your health.

Yes: They will not have , tar that causes cancer but has bad nicotine , t much higher doses than normal cigarettes .They are not safe , as they claim , avoid by al l means.

Safer versus Safe: I think that they are safer than regular cigarettes although nicotine vapor may cause its own health issues.  There urgently needs to be more studies on this as I have seen people using these devices everywhere!

They are addictive: Nicotine is the roughest of all addictions for those seeking to be free of it. Don't do this to yourself. These things are safer than cigs but the only reason to become involved with them is as an aid to smoking cessation.
