Not especially: Bed bugs crawl on the skin and more likely will bites in different locations but specially on exposed areas of the skin on the arms and legs.

Red spots on arms: Could be eczema , fungal rash ( ringworm), bite, brouise    or beginning of low platelet (usually on more then arms)s  May consider  topical steriod and antifungal  and f/u with doc urgent care for CBC and platelet count.

Prob not Bed bugs: These are INTENSELY itchy, and typically occur on the legs though not always.  Without seeing the spots not possible to diagnose.  They could be bites.  If they are bruises they will go away. If they are tiny and red might be cherry angiomas.

i woke up 2 days ago with spot/bite marks all over my face and arms and a few on my legs. i googled and it said bed bugs but i am not sure?

Probably: Contact your primary provider and be sure. You have to rid the house of the bugs or they will come back.

Bed bug bites: Bedbug bites can cause a lot of inflammation at the site of the bite especially if you are particularly sensitive. On rare occasion they can get infected as well. It may take some time for the bites to go away. Sometimes steroid creams or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) cream can help with the inflammation and itching. If infected you will need antibiotics.

Many possibilities: There are many types and causes of skin rashes.  Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

See your doctor: It could be several things, from insect bites to possibly hives, viral infection, or something else. I would recommend having your physician evaluate the rash to reach a more definitive diagnosis.

Maybe: If its bedbugs the red spots would be anywhere the bed contacts your skin and sometimes you'll have tiny blood spots on the bed. Notably you'll have red papules in sets of 3 from where the critters ate breakfast lunch and dinner.

Cannot say: Do the lesions itch burn or hurt. That makes a difference. You should see a dermatologist to determine what they are.

Sometimes : Sometimes it can be tough to figure out, "what bit me?"  typically, bed bugs will bite in 3 areas, many times these bites follow a linear pattern and some say relate to the bed bug's meals of breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Spider bites typically are in only 1 location.  You should have someone examine your legs- a dermatologist would be a good start for your condition.
