Stay well-hydrated: Dizziness and spots before your eyes when first getting up could be related to not drinking enough water (caffeinated beverages don't count) on a regular basis. Stay well-hydrated, drink 8 glasses of water daily (for people with healthy kidneys and heart), and try sitting up first for a 15-30 seconds, then dangle your feet over the bed for a few more seconds, then standing.

Go to Urgent Care: The the symptoms sound like a viral infection.. If you have associated fever as well, that is more concerning. It would be prudent to visit an Urgent Care clinic  to rule out more serious illnesses such as meningitis. If you don't have a fever, you could still have an electrolyte imbalance or other nervous system pathology that needs workup

i get dizzy frequently when i stand up.  i have to stop and squeeze my eyes for a few seconds. i'm not getting up too fast and i'm in great shape.

Orthostatic hypotenti: This is called Orthostatic hypotention, which is an autonomic dysfunction. 1. Feeling lightheaded or dizzy after standing up. 2. Blurry vision. 3. Weakness. 4. Fainting (syncope). 5.Confusion. 6. Nausea. Couses: Dehydration, Heart problems, Endocrine problems, Nervous system disorders. 
Medications: Droxidopa (Northera) pyridostigmine (Regonol, Mestinon epoetin (Epogen, Procrit (epoetin alfa) caffeine.

Intracranial HTN?: Transient obscurations of vision (tov) that you describe can be associated with benign intracranial hypertension (aka pseudotumor cerebri). Alternatively tov can be associated with vertebrobasilar artery disease, but this is less likely in an 18 year old. An ophthalmologist/neuro-ophthalmologist can make the diagnosis by looking in the eyes for optic disc swelling (papilledema) and with a ct scan.

tapering valium  down to 1mg and getting "dizzy" feeling.  like being pushed to one side or eyes not in sync with body. not vertigo. is this normal

No: cannot say in your particular case, but generally, valium tapering should be done under supervision because withdrawal from sedatives can lead to seizures, even fatal ones.
Valium is, however, one of the easier drugs to taper due to its relatively long half life.
The symptoms you describe are not typical. Could be serious withdrawal cannot say.

Not likely: Nf can certainly cause headache and visual changes but not usually the soreness you describe. Very important to see your usual primary care md (?Neurologist) to be sure.

See your doctor: There are several conditions that can cause the symptoms that you described.  Although some may be benign, there are others that should be treated.  I suggest you see an eye doctor as soon as these symptoms appear.
