Dizziness: Dizziness is a very non specific symptom of many conditions from poor diet, diabetes and nerve (neurologic) conditions. Don't try to self diagnosed. See a doctor at the earliest possible !

Sounds like you: are describing vertigo, most commonly caused by labyrinthitis.  Try OTC antihistamines and decongestants,  and, if it still persists, see a doctor for definitive diagnosis and proper treatment.

i had a bypass surgery 6 weeks ago, and i have been dizzy all day long, every day. tried several things, like stopping meds, as doctor requested, but nothing has worked. can they doctor have given me too much. this seems permanent?

: Since dizziness can be caused by multiple etiologies, including anemias, thyroid issues, and postural blood pressure changes, a full re-evaluation may be warranted.  An otolaryngologist might consider a video-nystagmogram to sort out central vs peripheral problems.  A neurologist might get involved to assess potential brain or spinal cord pathology.  Doubt surgery or medications are the cause.

Stop low carb diet: and see if symptoms go away. Some people cannot tolerate a low carb diet . If not better see your doctor.

i have gone cold turkey off 100mg nortriptyline now on day 5. how much longer can i expect withdrawal symtoms (disturbed sleep, dizzy, wierd tingling)?

Not a good idea!: never is a good idea to "cold turkey" stop a medication, especially on your own w/o your Doctors guidance. The "withdrawal symptoms" days will depend on how long you have taking it, the longer the more days you will need. The concerning part is that the problem you started taking the medication for , like depression, could crash you and some people have become suicidal. Call your physician ASAP!

i hit back of head on nye. on 5th i drove 700km - felt dizzy that day after a few hours driving. stayed awake on boat for much of last night (work) and went walking. felt fine. dizzy now again. head bump no longer sensitive. ok to drive home on 12th?

Dizziness: Obviously it's unsafe to operate a motor vehicle or any machinery while dizzy or unsteady if symptoms recur. Posttraumatic syndrome after your type of head injury,even without loss of consciousness or skull fracture, is not uncommon and can last days to weeks. If symptoms continue you are advised to be evaluated by a neurologist. It would be more reassuring if you had no dizziness for 48 hours

how long does valsartan last after you stop taking it? i skipped a day of my 40mg and my bp stayed the same 114/75. does it mean i no longer need it? started sleep apnea treatment a few weeks ago. i get dizzy and foggy every time i take the pill?

: Treatment of your sleep apnea may well be positively contributing to the improvement of blood pressure control, but may not be fully sufficient.  Contact your doctor about the side effects of Valsartan and discuss if the dose should be adjusted or an alternative medication be selected.

yesterday i woke up with diarrhoea and painful stomach cramps. throughout the day, i developed muscle aches all over (flu-like) and went quite dizzy. could it be the norovirus? my symptoms have improved today (no longer achey or dizzy).

Sounds like sugar: Sugar in the diet is a common cause of this kind of ill health. If it applies to you, stop taking sugar in all its forms and get a multivitamin

i took 150 mg of flucinazole a week ago tomorrow and got what i thought was a severve stomach virus the day after. no longer vomiting but have bad taste in mouth, nauseous, dizzy and itchy rash on palms. is this normal?

Not normal: It is likely that this was from a drug reaction and not normal.  If the problem continues to improve, I'd expect that you will fully recover in another week.  If not, see your doctor since it may also be from something else.
