May not: Require therapy. This just means the wall of the heart between the pumping chambers may not be functioning perfectly. If the rest of the heart is ok probably not a concern.

Could be serious: The seriousness of your echo results depends on the amount of regurgitation and reduced septal movement noted -- but even unquantified, these are not normal results. Pericarditis or not?: Pericarditis should not result in septal hypokinesis by echo. You may have myopericarditis (involvement of the heart muscle and the coverings of the heart), or  a false-positive finding by echo (sometimes it looks like hypokinesis but it is actually not). Pulse rate is high but does happen with chest pain or discomfort. Your age makes coronary (heart disease) unlikely. You need to see a heart doc!

Septm somewhat Hypo: Septum is common wall to RT&amp;LFT ventricle. In sinus rhythm (Holter nl) both Rt&amp;Left Ventricle beat ess at same time. Sept moves sltly towards left, but mostlty THICKENS. The other walls more towards septum. More Import is LVEF (Eject Frction). No study perfect. Nl for scintigraphy is LVEF&gt;50% (55%. Many beats averaged in both. All Sept R sl. hypo.

Wall hypokinesis: I assume your are talking about your heart.  It means that these parts of your heart are not squeezing well when it beats. Can be due to an old heart attack to that area of your heart. Discuss with your team as they have much more information that you sent us.

Hypokinesis: Hypokinesis could indicate an area of old heart muscle damage or scar but the study showed no significant blockage of your coronary arteries which cause any problem at this time. Your ejection fraction is slightly reduced which may also indicate some old damage. Does your resting EKG show old scar? The cardiologist can best advise you of your findings, current cardiac status and proper care.
