: An orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand surgery should be able to address your issues with the understanding that surgery may not be needed, it will have to do with details and function before fracture and predicted function once fracture healed.

Would have to see: The xray to comment. Is it non displaced or non displaced? Is it comminuted or not? These are things one must know to answer your question...

: This is a question best posed to the hand surgeon who treated you. You provided no information about how long ago the procedure was done or what if any efforts have been to improve the situation. Please go back to the treating doc and seek their guidance to improve the outcome. It may be too early to expect a return to normal.

I : I wonder if you had bleeding from a small blood vessel.  If a small blood vessel tore, it would cause bleeding and discoloration.  It sounds like there was no injury that you recall, which makes it very unusual to have the swelling or the tear in the blood vessel.

If you have this happen again or see bruising or discoloration, you should be seen and evaluated, or of course if you had any signs of infection in your hand.

undisplaced chip fracture to lateral aspect to the tuft of the distal phalanx big toe. is this a bad fracture? what is the treatment for it?

: This would not be considered a “bad” fracture. I would protect the area. Wear a stiff sole shoe for at least 3-4 weeks. You still have to allow for healing. You could have experienced a ligament injury to the joint. Important to allow proper healing.  Advil or Aleve for pain and swelling

Non surgical: Rest
ice therapy for 20 minutes of each hour
elevation
splinting 3-6 weeks until non-tender
hard soled shoe and
buddy taping fractured toe to adjacent toe
use cotton padding between toes and tape together
re-tape every 2-3 days
repeat xray is optional in non-displaced fractures
work-on range of motion until matches opposite 
good luck.

its been a little over two weeks after i fractured my left distal phalanx still sun swelling and bruising is this normal does feel better since accide?

Yes: It take about 6 weeks for the fracture to heal.
