Yes you can.: You certainly can, especially if you want to throw your money away. These products are expensive and a simple low carbohydrate diet and exercising will be much more effective.

Several possibilitie: Allopurinol is given when high serum uric acid  causes urinary stones.  It has few side effects, but rarely causes a severe skin condition called stevens–johnson syndrome.
Potassium citrate is given high urinary acidity is the main cause of stones.  This drug prevents uric acid stones  both by urinary alkalinization and by increasing citrate, (stone inhibitor).  See below for side effects.

No: Most stones are caused by crystallization of calcium oxalate. The most common antidote is magnesium. Uric acid actually comes from the  metabolism of sugar and vitamin b1, which works closely with magnesium would be more likely to help rather than b6. Avoidance of sugar  may be a key factor.

Rarely.: Virtually all stones can be visualized by ct scanning, except for the very rare indinavir stone. Prior to the widespread use of ct, stones that do not show up on x-ray films, like uric acid stones, were called radiolucent. Ct scanning is much more sensitive for the detection of stones than an ultrasound, and it is unlikely that stone visible on ultrasound is not seen on ct.

Not your best choice: Don't get your hopes up. Sodium bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate) (baking soda) is a poor alkalinizer of the urine as the body turns it into carbon dioxide (which is exhaled) and table salt; all you've done is sodium-load yourself. You'll have trouble getting calcium oxalate to dissolve in anything, but your urologist may try some other alkalinizer to perhaps help a uric acid stone; don't get your hopes up.

hi, i underwent a pcnl surgery in my right kidney this year to remove kidney stones and it was successful but i want to know how can i prevent them from reforming again the stones type were calcium oxalte and uric acid ?

: Ways to reduce recurrent kidney stones include:  increasing fluids to 2L daily, limiting animal protein/salt, and increasing citrate. It would be best to speak with your doctor or a kidney specialist about a specific approach based on your situation. They will need to perform a 24hr urinalysis to assess what specific factors are directly contributing to your stones.

do i still need to do x ray for detecting kidney disease if i have already done ultrasound for kidney? the ultrasound shows no kidney stones or tumors, nothing. the creatinine and uric acid test results are also normal. is x-ray needed in this case?

: Possibly. Radiographs show more detail than ultrasound images. If your urologist is still concerned about your kidney issues s/he will order radiographs to rule out any underlying problem that was not detected in the ultrasound.

Not really: Unfortunately, if it was helpful, you would have to essentially subsist on the supplement, to keep your urine ph alkaline...Which is far more likely to create other health problems over the long run than prevent some kinds of kidney stones. Only effective method for prevention is maintaining good hydration. Not going overboard on soda (pop) might help also.

Yes: If you eat enough baking soda so that your urine becomes too alkaline (i.e., high urine ph), you increase the risk of calcium phosphate kidney stones (although you decrease the risk of uric acid kidney stones).
