Unclear: This may be some type of spasm or GI upset.  Not any evidence to suggest cardiac disease. This fluttering  is not mentioned how frequent but may represent spams of the bowel after eating. Something else that is rare  at your age is a type of dumping syndrome One other question is how much caffeine are you taking. Irritable can be evident as fluttering if you are under stress. Check with your doc: This doesn't sound typical for ibs - usually that's a pain that improves after a bowel movement as well as periodic constipation or diarrhea.  It would be worth seeing your doctor as this could be an inflammatory bowel disease like crohn's or ulcerative colitis.

Gluten found in flour which makes bread can cause bloating and cramping in patients with celiac or gluten sensitvity. Your doctor can do tests like blood work and endoscopy to check for this.

More info: The first thing one thinks of is gallbladder but more info is needed. When do you get pain? What type? How long does it last? Anything make it better? Anything make it worse? Does food affect the pain? Have you had any surgery ? How long has it been there? Have you tried any medications? Did they work? Did you injure yourself? Pulled muscle etc? Has anyone done any studies? Need a bit more.

Ulcer pain??: The best thing would be that you have an ulcer. It is, and has been for a number of years, a treatable medical condition- with 2 antibiotics and an antacid for about 3 weeks. If that doesn't work see your doc to look for nastier things-I.e. Stomach cancer, et. al.

Ulcer and reflux: You may well have a peptic ulcer and reflux disease.  I recommend proceeding with an endoscopy and at the same time exclude an h pylori infection.

Many possibilities: Upper abdominal pain can be from acid pains, such as a stomach ulcer, just gastritis with no ulcer, or reflux (heartburn). Sometimes there is an ulcer in the first part of the small intestine. An infection with H. pylori bacteria can lead to stomach pains. Needs more evaluation, by one's doctor. Pancreatitis, gallstones, liver or spleen disorders, or various cancers can also cause tummy symptoms.
