Many possibilities: Oral Herpes, 
Oral Candida(Fungal) infection
Vitmin Deficiency ( like Vit C def)
Aphthous Ulcer ( sometimes cyclical with Menstrual period) are a few of the possibilities
 In short you need to be examined. This cannot be diagnosed without proper exam.

i have a scalloped tongue, feeling of cotton mouth, and decreased taste. i just ended azithromycin a week ago, along with diflucan 4 days ago. is this a concern? no white patches but a small coating on tongue/discolored.

These: symptoms/signs are common after the use of a broad spectrum antibiotic...If the thrush is treated with antifungals you might try eating some yogurt to help "replace" the normal PH and bacteria in your mouth and on your tongue (a tongue brush may be helpful) Finally your DENTIST may have some advice!

Salivary stone?: Stones can form in your salivary ducts just as they can in your kidneys.  This is one possibility.  See your dentist or oral surgeon to get it checked out.

Can't scrape it off: Leukoplakia cannot be scraped off although scraping at it could change its appearance somewhat and perhaps lead to that illusion. Oral thrush can be scraped off and some forms of hairy tongue can be significantly altered by scraping.

Allow 1 week to eval: You implied this condition is relatively short term (days).  Short term irritations on the tongue can be the result of a burn or bite or a canker sore.  All of the above conditions will resolve without treatment in one week.  If the situation persists beyond that time a professional evaluation of the patches is necessary.

Sore tongue: Probably papillitis. No acidic/salty foods, alcohol, mouthwashes, smoking, spicy foods for 10-14 days. 
Half tsp of baking soda in 8 ounces of lukewarm as oral rinse may help.

It depends: Because developing leukoplakia so quickly and at your age would be uncommon i must question the diagnosis.    A dentist might know.  Otherwise might have your family doc take a look?

Varicosities: The most common reason for this are varicose veins. This is usually common and quite harmless depending on your general health and if there are any other issues. There can be other reasons. Have your Doctor check them at your bext visit
