Ask your doctor: Questions regarding issues after surgery are always best answered by your surgeon. However light to medium bleeding after hysteroscopy is usually normal for up to 1-2 weeks. If bleeding becomes heavy, severe pain develops or a fever over 101 go to the ER

Why hysteroscopy?:  Your current symptoms are going to be a function of y you originally had the hysteroscopy. If you had the hysteroscopy to remove a fibroid or a polyp, then it is not uncommon to have some discharge remaining afterwards for the first week. If it was just to take a look, and you are finding that you have a fever,  malodorous vaginal discharge or pain, get seen by your doctor.

Vaginal discharge: Vaginal discharge requires an examination to determine the cause and treatment. Bacterial vaginosis is the most common cause and often has a vaginal odor. Vaginal itching can be a sign of a yeast infection. Sometimes vaginal discharge can be a sign of a sexual transmitted infection.  If your surgery was recent then the discharge may be form that. Schedule follow up with your surgeon for testing

i had a hysteroscopy about 5 weeks ago. i have finished my first period and hubby and i had sex 2 days ago and today i've had pale pink discharge?

Pink discharge: The discharge could be related to ovulation.  You did not provide your age, and there may be other causes. After a period, there may be residual small amounts of blood which can be expressed by contractions of the womb after sex.  If this continues, see your healthcare provider who performed the hysteroscopy.

i had a d&c, leep, and hysteroscopy five days ago. still have cramping and now have grey and black discharge? but have had no bleeding is this normal

Yes: The discharge is probably due to the leep treatment. Some cramping is normal and some bleeding or discharge for even 3 weeks.

on tuesday i went for a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy procedure. i was discharge from hospital yesterday, since yesterday i have been having painful headaches and now i even vomit. is this normal?

Symptoms: Symptoms could be related to anesthetic if it has been only about 24 hours since discharge. Clear fluids and anti-emetic. If symptoms persist for more than a day and seem to be worsening let your provider know.

D&amp;C: Yes this is very normal. You may bleed like  the end of a period. The  discharge is not uncommon. As long as no fever or chills. No tampons only pads though to allow discharge to dissipate

Post hysteroscopy: It's good that you have an appt in 2 days.  Possibly an infection, but you will need to be examined.  Watch for fever and report this to your doctor.

does discharge from uterine polyp appear when wiping or can it only be on panty liner? seeing occasional yellowish tan spots, but never on toilet paper when wiping? had d&c/hysteroscopy year, and just had my yearly paps/check up and all was good.

Best to see ...: At 57y/o vaginal discharge of any type should be evaluated by one's PCP/ Gyne. The Yellowish tan spots may suggest Yeast (Candida) infection but best to see the doc!
