my husband found a dime sized lump under his skin behind his ear. what might this be?

May be a lymph node.: I am guessing it's one of the lymph nodes in the posterior cervical chain; they run from behind the ear down the neck. Lymph nodes are found all over our bodies; they trap debris and help us ward off infection. This might also be a sabaceous cyst. Call your doctor if it seems infected, or if it feels very firm or is getting significantly larger. Lgromkomd.

i have a dime sized lump under the skin on top of my forearm. it does not move when i touch it. it is not visible looking at it. not painful.

Lump: This may be a simple cyst from an ingrown hair, lipoma(fatty growth) or a wen. Lack of redness or tenderness means that there is no inflammation or infection. A physician or dermatologist would have to examine it in order to advise you.

there's a pea/dime sized lump under the skin of my upper inner thigh. it's been there while with no pain. what is it? how to treat/get rid of?

In that location: possibly a Sebaceous Cyst ( Plugged sweat gland) and the only sure way of removal is surgery (MINOR)

Vaginal issues: Without an examination there are a number of things that this could be. However a common cause of a lump in the genital region would be a swollen lymph node. This is essentially a place in  the body where an infection is being fought of. It would be a good idea to get checked out by your primary care physician to better help determine what the cause of the lump is.

Simple vs serious: Our bodies always have things that grow and change. Skin, fat, muscle, lymph nodes,  bones, can change shape, get larger, more prominent due to many factors. The vast majority are not cancer but simply unusual growths like fatty tumors, cysts, skin tags, moles, etc.  Most cause no symptoms and can be watched.  If they cause symptoms or change colors, bleed, bruise or hurt, then see your doctor.

Get checked : It is best to get it checked and biopsied vs excised. May have a better idea of what it may be if we knew whether it has increased in size, mobile mass, Skin discoloration, tender to touch, etc.. Best to see your doctor about this soon.

Tumor: By definition a tumor is a mass, either benign or malignant.  On the top of the head, a lesion the size of a dime falls into the benign group of tumors.  It can be a true bony lesion or osteoma, a small fibrous tumor, a dense lipoma or cytst.  Malignant tumors here usually ulcerate the skin.  If it grows or becomes painful then biopsy is indicated.

i have a dime size squishy lump on my inner thigh.it's a mix of red purple and white in color. skin on top is dry. only hurts if squeezed. what is it?
