Atelectasis?: Plugging of an airway in the lung by a mucus plugs prevents lung to expand in one area or more than one area. Go to Emergency Room . You need a chest x-ray and an exam.

You could try +: Stuffy nose could a viral infection referred to as a 'cold', an allergic reaction caused by something inhaled from the environment,  a bacterial nasal infection called 'purulent rhinitis'.  General measures include hot shower water or hot compresses over the nasal/sinus area, saline nasal spray, a mild decongestant. Antibiotic or antihistamine may be appropriate.  If persistent nagging prob, c doc.

Sick: Take your baby to see the pediatrician as soon as possible -- i think the baby has cold, congestion and probably some conjunctivitis.

Almost understand: The question is a bit choppy and I struggle to see how the bone marrow biopsy fits in with the rest.  Was the CT scan of the sinus?  Stuffy nose, loss of sense of smell, congestion and difficulty breathing make me think of rhinitis, which can be caused by inhaled allergens or irritants among other causes. An Allergist can best determine cause and optimize treatment.

See doctor: you can try an over the counter inhaler like primatine mist.  Something for asthma is most likely to help.  The stuffy nose can be treated with benadryl, (diphenhydramine) claritin ,allegra, CTM, or zyrtec.  your doctor can also perscrib a nasal steroid spray.  A prescription inhaler ma work better for the cough.  you need to be able to tell the doctor what time of year you have the most trouble and the triggers

so i had a guess a cold (stuffy nose and ear pain and sore throat) it went away and then a day later the throat came back. its scratchy and when i lay down i have i think a post nasal drip. i also have indigestion (burping a lot) whats the problem?

: I still think your body is fighting off a common cold viral infection that'll most likely last a week or so.  If you feel that your belching is gas buildup from indigestion, avoid gassy foods &amp; beverages.  Don't force yourself to belch as you'll only keep swallowing more air. Taking simethicone 1/2 hour after meals prevents gas buildup.

Halitosis: Your daughters halitosis can be caused by so many different factors. Dental cavities, infection, diet, sinus issues are but a few of them. You'll need her doctor's help to rule out the causes. If her dentist examines her and she has no gum issues or tooth decay, then you can take her to see her physician for other causes. She may need treatment.

my baby is now 3weeks and 4 days and really struggling with a stuffy nose i have been using saline spray and nose frida but only works for a little while. anything else i can do or use to help her open her nose and breath better?

Milk or formula: Some times a change in formula might help or even diluting it a little. But other wise you are doing the best at present.

Nose breathing, yes: If you breath through your mouth and you are still short of breath, you need to be seen by a physician.  If it only occurs with breathing through your nose, then, no, it is confined to the nasal passages and can wait until you likely get over the issue.  See your doctor if you don't get better.
