Several types: Astigmatism is common, and is when the cornea is not the same roundness all the way around (it is a little flatter in one direction, like the surface of a football). Keratoconus is when the center of the cornea points outward too much, and cornea plana is when the cornea is too flat.

is surgery the only possible way to get a different eye shape?

Contact lens therapy: Corneal refractive therapy can also correct nearsightedness and sometimes astigmatism and farsightedness on a temporary basis (1 to 2 days), unlike refractive surgery (LASIK), which is more permanent.  It requires sleeping in contact lenses.  This can be uncomfortable though, and may increase the risk of infection.  LASIK surgery is not performed until 18 years of age.

does blepharitis cause eyelids to itch, at different times of the day?

Yes: Blepharitis can cause this but so can allergies and other things. See your eye doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Stress/anxiety?: Eyelid twitching is usually due to benign reasons.  Often, stress, anxiety, or fatigue are the culprits.  Occasionally, it may be due to electrolyte imbalance.

Accepted Answer

Complex: The lids spread tears to  moisten the eyes.  The cornea is the front window behind which is the iris opening to let light in and the lens to focus light through the back chamber (vitreous) onto the retina which translates the light image into an electrical signal which goes up the optic nerve into the brain which is the computer that makes the conscious picture.  A wonderful circuit.

skin peeling in elderly woman that when peeled turns black, different areas of body, eyelids. had hives reaction to drug. ideas on what it could be?

?: Exfoliative dermatitis, meaning inflammation of the skin lleading to its falling, (exfoliation/peeling), that can happen  as a type of alllergic reaction to a drug, which can explain the hives as well, which is another type of allergic reaction, please see your doctor soon, stop any drug you believe is causing this, and 63 is not elderly, take care

my son is 3  years old, i took him to an ophthalmologist as he had a rash on his upper eyelid, i used  different ointments and now it has a white patch on it.

Pigment loss: Many of these rashes when healed will first at the surface. This can leave an area of pigment loss in deeper layers that can take months to return &amp; even out skin tone. I would leave the area alone  except to use a sunblock if he is out in the sun enough to tan. These areas burn easier than toned skin.

Many causes!: It could be fluid retention if you sleep on that side, it could be mosquito bite, rubbing of eyes.... Try some cool compress on it.  If it persists and recurs, consult a local ophthalmologist.

can anxiety/stress temporarily change shape/size of eyeballs ?felt over my eyelids in morning,came back from college in evening,eyeballs felt tired+bigger+rounder,esp at the middle.eyes dry in morning.all this is frequent.i wear glasses as prescribed?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!
