Probably a pound or: 2. Also very unhealthy to 4 day fast on the items you have chosen to drink. Would recommend constant 1200 cal diet with lots of vegetables and fruit,salads to lose weight.

Need   more water: You need to drink less coffee, no diet coke and drink more water
diet coke has aspartame, brekdown products of aspartame are considered neurotoxins and can give headaches, migrains, dizziness, visual disturbances, memory lossfatigue, tremors and seizures.

Drink mixes: Some of the brands of flavored drink mixes add caffeine to some of there products.  You might find them a good replacement.  An energy supplement may do the trick too.

Yes: Stimulants and artificial sweeteners can cause diarrhea. Excess of either coffee or diet soda should be avoided.

diagnosis: chronic peptic duodenitis, negative h. pylori. treating it with pepcid and diet. i love coffee. i've reduced my coffee consumption to 1/2 cup daily and i neutralize it with 1/4 tsp. baking soda. is this ok?

: I'm not sure how the coffee would taste, but pepcid should handle that small amount of caffeine. Abstain from alcohol,aspirin,anti-inflammatory meds like advil &amp;aleve along with your dietary instructions. The Mayo Clinic has a good diet for duodenitis.

Better choices: And we can't say that diet soda IS healthy! Drinking a can or two of diet soda a day is not likely to hurt you. The small amount of artificial sweeteners and chemicals in one or two are likely harmless.  But don't think it will really help you lose weight...many studies have shown this isn't the case. There are many healthier choices, mostly WATER:)

For teeth - yes: Soda pop contains corrosive acids such as citric, malic, tartaric carbonic or phosphoric which, can remove calcium from tooth enamel. Without protection from the dental enamel, the tissue underneath is susceptible to cavities, root canals & even extractions. Sugar is an additional cavity causing issue, so consider rinsing your mouth after drinking soda, both diet & soda containing sugar.
