Diagnosis: chronic peptic duodenitis, negative h. pylori. treating it with pepcid and diet. i love coffee. i've reduced my coffee consumption to 1/2 cup daily and i neutralize it with 1/4 tsp. baking soda. is this ok?

I'm not sure how the coffee would taste, but pepcid should handle that small amount of caffeine. Abstain from alcohol,aspirin,anti-inflammatory meds like advil &aleve along with your dietary instructions. The Mayo Clinic has a good diet for duodenitis.
