Yes, from her doctor: A pediatrician can write out a program for using various laxatives and the amounts of each, to do a clean-out of the bowels, and then to keep them clear while the bowels "recover" their previous normal behavior. The doctor can examine the child to see what might be the cause of the constipation. Many times, there is no obvious cause, but sometimes there is (such as not-pooping due to anus pain).

i need an alternative medication for vimovo that my medical aid plan, which is let care plus, covers.

Vimovo: is a combination drug of 500mg of Naprosyn and 20 mg of  esomperazol, Nexium,a PPI to prevent gastric irritation and reduces stomach acid.- The meds are available as generics, so you would have to take 2 separate pills. You could certainly subsitute Prilosex ( omerazole)  or Pepcid ( famotidine) or Zantac ( ranitidine); however, I suggest generics.

Recommendations...: ...are different if your goal is to: 1) repair a diseased liver;  2) reverse fatty liver;  3) aid eradication of viral hepatitis; 4) keep a cirrhotic liver compensated; 5) optimally maintain a healthy liver as healthy. How can we best help you here? By the way, you can't go wrong by minimizing alcohol intake regardless of which of the above conditions exist.

Maybe...: If you are having leakage of urine when you cough, laugh, or sneeze...a condition known as stress urinary incontinence...it may be due to declining sex hormone levels. Correcting these hormone levels (IMO, using "bio-identical" estrogens, testosterone, and progesterone) is best. But in other women, I've had some success recommending OTC pseudoephedrine ("Sudafed") which tightens sphincters.

OTC sleeping pill: Best sleep aid is to find & treat the cause of lack of sleep. Some otc sleep aids are melatonin for occasional insomnia.

Telogen effluvium: Because telogen effluvium is a reactive process, which resolves spontaneously, treatment usually is limited to reassurance. Any reversible cause of hair shedding, such as poor diet, iron deficiency, hypothyroidism, or medication use, should be corrected. In our clinic we use B12 shots once a month which helps.

Oral Mucocele: An oral mucocele will often resolve on its own without treatment. If it does not resolve or chronically recurs, then see an oral surgeon for care. This is not treated with medication.

i have put on 40 pounds after a terrible year with repeated steroid treatment.  is there a diet aid i could take that would help me with energy?

While there are: medications and supplements that may help you are betting off trying to avoid these(particular prescription medications) if possible.  You're best bet is try to remain as active as possible and clean up your diet as best as possible(at least in terms of minimizing processed foods and eating a diet rich in colorful veggies and fruits.)
