?: What is a missed misscarriage? Do you mean ab incomplete misscarriage where you are coninuing to bleed? If so, see a doctor immediately.  Diarrhea may not have anything to d with it, but it is potentially serious.

It can: Any illness/infection that produces prolonged diarrhea or debilitation can induce pregnancy loss. However, your GYN MD needs to test you (TORCH titer) for other chronic illnesses that can cause repeated miscarriage as well. Cervical competence issues should also be addressed. Good luck!

No, but: Diarrhea in itself will not cause a miscarriage. However, sometimes miscarriages are associated with increase in chemicals called prostaglandins in the body, and this can cause diarrhea. Sometimes 17 week loses are associated with problems that are correctable so you should see a specialist prior to the next pregnancy for evaluation.

Probably not: Diarrhea is a bowel movement which is loose, or  frequent or both. It may be a result of a viral or bacterial  illness, certain medication  or other  exposures. Endometriosis  may also be associated with diarrhea.
If you are pregnant  and have diarrhea consult your  md. If you miss your menses  with or without diarrhea  a pregnancy test should be done, as well as an  md consult.

diagnosed with a miscarriage and am waiting for it to happen. i have had diarrhea for two days with heavy cramping. is this a sign it's coming?

Miscarriage info :  I'm so sorry to hear that. Miscarriages are out of your control. Waiting for it up pass is ok. Diarrhea is not a sign.  Cramping may be first sign, followed by bleeding. If you experience very heavy bleeding with persistent clots, call your MD. Some miscarriages may require a D&amp;C to help you clear the uterus. Also, there is medication up help you pass it (misoprostal). Watch for any fever.

Unlikely: It is not likely that this is due to a miscarriage in the absence of other symptoms.  It is either a brief viral enteritis, something you ate that disagreed with you, etc.  Relax, don't get ahead of yourself and create problems where there may not be any.  Good luck and have a great baby.

Contact your MD: With these symptoms it is difficult to determine what the problem is without an exam. Contact your MD.

Probably dif issues : Your gastrointestinal symptoms are probably not related. Birth control can be used to regulate your bleeding.  Vaginal Discharge testing can be done to determine the cause and treatment. Your primary care doctor can address the GI symptoms
