Dr. probably correct: Could also be gastritis or an acute peptic ulcer due to heliobacter pylori  your doctor can arrange fior a simple blood antibody test, stool or urea breath test to make this diagnosis. Could also be a hiatal hernia which can be diagnosed by an upper gastrointestinal x-ray. Good luck.

Possible: It's possible. the urethra is short and it's possible to get a UTI with aggressive manipulation. The urethra is just below the clitoris. Push fluids and see if it doesn't improve on its own, but if you get more symptoms of a UTI like urinary frequency you should get checked and treated.

hi, i got this extreme pain in my chest under my neck this morning after having my first cup of coffee. not a muscle pain. but it hurts when i breathe.

dont know what to do or what it could be?

Varies: There are multiple potential causes, but extreme chest pain needs to be urgently evaluated to rule out a cardiac cause as those can potentially be life threatening.  Other causes can include gi causes like esophageal spasm, reflux, etc.  again, it would be wise to be evaluated.

ever since giving birth 1 year ago, i have very loose bowel in the morning after drinking 1 cup of coffee. im usually okay if i go another time of the day or if i have no coffee. could this be related to my low tsh or coffee?

: Coffee is a powerful intestinal stimulant. It causes the walls of your intestines to contract and yields stool within 30 min to 1 hour. This does not allow for the normal amount of time where the intestine is reabsorbing water from the stool and therefore results in looser stool. There may not be any relation to TSH or hormones or giving birth.

Change in bowels: Change in bowels is a red-flag to doctors-- this includes alteration in stool texture, altered ease or completeness of elimination, frequency of stooling, occult bleeding, etc. Risk factors, co-morbidities, changes in activity/stress/diet, metabolic factors (diabetes, low thyroid) must be considered.  It may be nothing serious, but medical evaluation is recommended & will likely prove reassuring.

If : If it is particulary dark, there may be blood as an ingredient. If you have black, tarry, foul smelling stool, this normally is blood in the stool. Blood in the stool should be evaluated forth with.

Yes: caffeine does not interact with Adderall pharmacologically. Both may produce jumpiness, however. I hav patients who drink many cups of coffee without adverse effects while on Adderall.

a fly accidently got stuck in a coffee pot but my friend said that he washed it out. but i can't help but worry that it wasn't washed out thoroughly. i did rinsed it out this morning because i made a mistake in brewing it. chances of me getting sick?

Good idea: Brewing was a good idea. Boiling water pretty much sterilizes pots, cookware, utensils, etc... In developed countries, where we are overly clean already, using boiling water isn't as needed from a health standpoint. In developing countries, it's a good idea to make sure one's coffee, tea, water, or soup actually reached the boiling point before cooling down to drinkable temperatures.

Try: Try drinking tea instead.  Or start exercising in the morning, such as going for a brisk walk or run.
