Dr. probably correct: Could also be gastritis or an acute peptic ulcer due to heliobacter pylori your doctor can arrange fior a simple blood antibody test, stool or urea breath test to make this diagnosis. Could also be a hiatal hernia which can be diagnosed by an upper gastrointestinal x-ray. Good luck.
