24 yr old. f. with different symptoms, very confused as to what it could be. i have constant headaches, stomach problems every day, very fatigued,constant urinating, etc ana speckled a positive but with 1:40 h tier. not diabetes?

: It is not feasible to provide an opinion without additional history, physical examination may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor to see if you may be depressed. Depression is treatable. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. None: There is no way to "cure" diabetes, only control it and prevent it's complications. With type 2 diabetes, however, significant weight loss or gastric bypass surgery and remove evidences of abnormal glucose, but the diabetes is still there, waiting to worsen later in life depending upon the circumstances.

When was last look?: Large variety of insulins. New guidelines. Relaxation of targets for some. Glp-1 agonists. First sodium glucose co-transporter 2 inhibitor, Invokana (canaglifozin) , approved just recently.

Despite all the new, fundamentals remain....  Diet exercise, wt loss. Medications as necessary to achieve targets. Control BP and ldl.

Mostly obesity: There are two kinds of diabetes. Type 1 is a genetic accident, or bad luck. It comes on in childhood usually and is a lack of insulin. Type 2 is more likely with a family history, but is strongly tied to obesity. It is caused by a resistance to Insulin initially, rather than a lack of it. I have seen diabetes type 2 go away with enough weight loss.

Diabetes: Diabetes effects many organs including pancreas, kidneys, eyes, blood vessels and nerves.  These effects can lead to kidney failure, blindness, poor wound healing and amputation.  It is very important to follow your doctors recommendations concerning the treatment of diabetes.

Diet and exercise: As a diabetic it is important to monitor your blood sugar daily by doing a fasting blood sugar every morning when you wake up and check hba1c every 3 months. At 33, lifestyle is important. Watch your diet and blood pressure, cut out smoking +drinking alcohol and sodas. Exercise daily. Get your eyes and feet checked, get a blood and urine test done. Ask your dr. If you can just be diet controlled.

No: Not by itself.  But diabetes make you more prone to certain infections so you can get enlarged lymph nodes from that.

Yes and No.: Exhausted and tired are pretty general symptoms and could represent anything.  Not very likely to be diabetes unless of course you also had..... Frequent urination, insatiable thirst and hunger, wt loss, blurry vision, abdominal pain, sweet smell to urine, fruity breath and rapid breathing.
