when your sunburns peeling and it itches what can you use to releve the itch?

Anti-itch cream: Sunburn is caused by sun damage to the skin. The itching is part of the inflammatory response to that damage. You can use aloe-containing products, much as you would for a burn. Also, 1% Hydrocortisone cream may be of benefit. The main thing, though, is to avoid getting burned again in the future. Sunburns can be associated with the development of skin cancer.

Allergic dermatitis: It may be a benign allergic dermatitis (rash) but it could be something else like psoriasis or benign skin growth.  See a dermatologist.

Poss folliculitis: This may be folliculitis (inflammation/infection of the hair follicles.).  It can resolve by itself, and warm compresses/topical antibiotics (like Bacitracin) may be helpful. If severe, it may need to be seen by a physician.

Dermatologist: I'm of the opinion that any skin lesion which looks unusual and is different from any other skin lesions on your body or ones that are changing or symptomatic, should be evaluated by a dermatologist for peace of mind.

receiving paclitaxel and herceptin. after 5th cycle, developed 30 small pimples or water bumps on my scalp, which feels like sunburn, though i've not been in the sun, and itches. is this a normal side effect? can i use calamine lotion on them?

Blisters: Medications can trigger tiny blisters in the skin related to virus which has been quiet in your body.  Please call your oncologist to have them looked at.  Meanwhile, calamine lotion may be soothing and unlikely to harm.

Need more history: in that the above information is insufficient to make a specific diagnosis.  How much sun exposure?  Is son fair or olive skin?  One joint or multiple?  Injury or none?  Appearance of rash, possible contact or exposure, history of eczema, etc.  If chronic and feeling fatigued, start with a physical by your doctor and blood tests may be helpful.

i recently got some blackheads removed around 2 weeks ago and now the areas where i got them done are burning & itching periodically. what could that mean and should i seek in-person dermatology help?  thanks?

Local irritation: It really just sounds like local irritation in the area. While it never hurts to contact the person who did the procedure to double check, it does not sound serious enough to warrant ER visit. Cool compresses to areas may be helpful.

Yes and yes.: It can be related to both. You must also consider a stress or anxiety induced itching. If you are extremely depressed, anxious or under extreme stress this can be the cause. If you have no rash it is hard to say what it might be with the information that you have given.

Bald spot: Many possible causes including simply being on his/her back too much. I would advise seeing  the baby's pediatrician first, they should be able to determine the cause and generally you should be able to see your pediatrician a lot sooner than a dermatologist. Good luck
