White cell attack?: Sjogren's is not yet well understood. Presumably the body's white blood cells attack and destroy the glands in the skin that produce tears and saliva; but that theory does not explain the more widespread systemic effects that are seen as the disease progresses, so other factors (such as a viral infection) are probably also involved.

Common on the penis or in the female vulva after an episiotomy or birthing tear. Can also occur anywhere in the body of epidermal cells are implanted under the skin, i'e after a skin puncture injury.

The cons are infection in the healing period after piercing and long term allergic response to the rings and things placed in the piercing.

Water: Avoid peroxide and alcohol which are just irritating. Avoid bacitracin ,neomycin, triple antibiotic as they are useless as well as sensitizing, causing allergic reactions. Avoid herbs and anything "natural". Water and vaseline are useful. Use surgical (stainless) steel or 14k gold metal.

That is typically: done with small injection of local anesthetic so you shouldn't feel the punch at all

Saline Solution: Clean a new dermal piercing w saline (1/4th tsp non-iodized salt mixed in 1 cup of warm water). Apply with clean gauze or spray  2 to 3 times a day ; wipe w fresh  paper towel.
