Where do epidermal cysts form?

Under the skin: Due some epidermal skin cells trapped under the skin. Cells multiply and can not escape resulting in cyst formation. Common on the penis or in the female vulva after an episiotomy or birthing tear. Can also occur anywhere in the body of epidermal cells are implanted under the skin, i'e after a skin puncture injury.
