Superfast healing: The real question is what not to do that slows down healing. Avoid using alcohol, peroxide, hibiclens, betadine, and bleach solutions. Inflammation ( red, hot, swollen, tender) is important to healing  so anti-inflammatories (motrin, advil) are bad. Cover the area with a clean dressing changed every other day  and protected from trauma.  Antibiotics do not help healing unless it is truly infected.

i just got diagnosed as having an anal abscess on the opening of my rectum. its very small but deep. the doctor prescribed cream due to location. im having anxiety and want to know what my chances are of this becoming a fistula?

Low: Since this has been examined by a doc and you were given a topical , that doc felt it could be treated safely like that as opposed to an incision/drainage. If needed, that I/D could always be done in the future. Hot packs, Prid salve, and your prescription cream should allow the access to open and drain on its own. Good luck!

Packing: Wounds like this are typically treated with packing and healing by secondary intent.  Oral antibiotics are often used but the wound must not be closed and be allowed to heal from inside to outside in this manner.

1 month ago= abscess/boil appeared on foot. over time=popped\healed. now= deep black hole 1cm deep x 1 cm across. should i worry? any home remedies?

Would: See a podiatrist and your regular medical doctor. Make sure you are tested for diabetes, not just treated for this.

What was the cause: depends on exact location and the cause of the abscess.  If there is a communication from rectum to that area (fistula) then it is possible for it to come back.  Also, is it a first time? Any other bowel disease? Diabetes? Weight issue?  All can add to recurrence.

Yes!: The point of draing and packing space and then removing the packing and repacking is to prevent an &amp;&amp;andinfection from setting in there.  It is not the cleanest part of your body and it will take a while to fully heal. The incision and drainage (I &amp; D) is more important to your cure than whatever antibiotics that you may be taking. Pilonidal sinus: Sounds like you have a pilonidal sinus that has been chronically infected and and has granulation tissue within. It is unlikely that it will respond to oral anitbiotics and resolve.

Yes of course: So you have been told the you could have an abscess so are they treating it with IV antibiotics are they planning to drain it to answer your question yes such description will cause a lot of pain and could make you very sick
