Recovery: The recovery for an injury varies by patient, severity, desired level of activity, and the specific muscle that has been injured. Rest ice compression elevation for the injury will aid in the recovery process. If you fail to improve, seeing an orthopaedic specialist may be required.

Go see MD: After a week most minor injuries to the knee should be getting better. The possible injuries are extensive and need to be evaluated by an orthopedist, sports med doc or joint specialst (rheumatologist), depending on who you have access to. Stay off it a much as possible until it is checked out.

Exam needed: Any new redness, swelling on an extremity should be examined by your doctor. If it appears deep, large, painful to touch, prompt Emergency Room care is what I would recommend. If it is  superficial like a pimple / infection it would still require an assessment. Good luck.

Myalgia: You're describing a symmetrical myalgia. Viral infections (most notably the flu) can cause this. Some drugs, most notably, statins can do it. Rare diseases (collagen vascular type) can cause it. Try a simple remedy like advil or aleve (naproxen). If it doesn't resolve or keeps coming back, you'll need some testing done.

Torn adductor/ham: With this type of injury and bruising, I often think first of a partial tear of the groin/adductor or hamstring tendons or muscles. It would be wise to try and get a definitive diagnosis and receive a plan for rehab, recovery time and return-to-play recommendations. It may take several months to heal. Vibration: I had the same sensations  before cell phones era, perhaps triggered by the on call pager when i was an intern. The mechanism is not well understood but it is very common and appears to be a benign process. Myokymia, myotonic discharges or sensory memory processing may be explanation. If in doubt check with your physician to make sure there is no other problem that may suggest a medical condition.
