Still Controversial: John, I'm still not completely through the book, but the premise is one that I am beginning to agree with--namely that carbohydrates are the "root of all evil."  Keep in mind that this assertion is still very controversial, and you will find some doctors who agree with it and some who do not--which is true of almost any new idea amongst doctors. See a Dr: Any unbearable pain which has been going on for years requires a thorough exam by a Dr. Causes for the pain you have described vary from benign (improper posture, poor lifting technique, overuse) to serious ( herniated cervical disc, dislocated rib, heart problem, compression fracture) A Dr will examine you and may order tests and imaging to determine the cause and treatment for this problem.

???: Red wine is not really going to lower cholesterol. There are much treatments.
First: avoid cholesterol containing food
Second: check with your doc what the level is and discuss statins.

Grain Brain: Grain brain contains some life changing ideas.  Whether you adopt all the suggestions depends on your clinical status.  Staying off wheat is probably a good idea for most of us -- other grains like amaranth, quinoa, etc are better.  If you&#x27;re Insulin resistant at all, you might need to be careful of very sweet fruits that increase your blood sugar.  Berries, apples, etc are less a problem.

had bumps on penis head and itchy last year. used creams and it went away i thought. no its back and when i pee it burns. i have not had an inter course with anyone. what can i do to remedy? thanks david?

Forward: Fat carries higher risk because of increased inflammation that fat cells promote. Your wideness may change to forward fat in the future, but only if you don't take care of yourself.

Fluid or Fat: Needs to have ultrasound of belly if this is new.

Ultrasound: This technique is reasonable.  Kidneys are up under ribs, so imaging while on your belly makes the ribs block the image.  Placing you on your back or side for the kidney images is standard technique.

I think your: Asking if u got pregnant after your iud was removed.  Try a pregnancy test to see.  There are other reasons for belly and back pain, constipation, bladder infection, mensrual cycle.  First start with a upt, gd luc.

Congrats on wt loss: First congratulations on the weight loss. Following weight loss, especially if rapid, the fat shrinks faster than the skin can keep up, leaving you with some flab. The skin will continue to tighten to some extent; youth is in your favor. Overall good diet, conditioning, including stomach muscles, will help.  Celebrate your "perfect body", even if not quite perfect. Plastic surgery is final option.
