Hematuria: It is variable.  If the stone  caused a good deal of irritation to the ureter, red blood cels may be detectable in the urine for days to weeks.  Of course, there is always the possibility that there are more stones in the kidneys causing persistent blood in the urine.  Have an x-ray or ct to assess  for additional stones if not already done.

Probably: Kidney stones come in many sizes and shapes. 6 mm is not very large and should eventually pass. Straining urine with kitchen strainer every voiding should eventually catch the stone which likely will look like a blood clot. It can get hung up in the ureter causing significant pain. There are ways to get it out if trouble passing, see urologist for that.

Possible but hard: 8mm is a good size stone first make sure it is not blocking the kidney next you could passed it but very painful find out if they can crush it with a machine or grab it with a basket

Likely will pass: Ureteral stones under 5 mm have about a75% passage rate.  That being said stones of any size can get impacted and not pass on their own.  Flomax may help he stone to pass, also plenty of fluids.  There have been a few recent studies showing that sex will help kidney stones to pass ( at least in males).

i thin k i'm passing a kidney stone but i'm concerned that no urine is coming out at all. whem sgould i seek medical help? no urine. have taken 2 uri stat.

You : You haven't specified a timeline, so it's not clear how long you've been unable to urinate.  If it's more than a few hours, that would suggest a problem that needs to be investigated.

In a person with two kidneys, which is the norm, even complete obstruction of one kidney by a stone would not stop urine from being produced in normal amounts by the other.  While it's possible that both kidneys could simultaneously be blocked by stones, it would be highly unlikely.

If you really have no urine at all, the likely explanations would include:
1) the stone is blocking your urethra--that is, it has gotten past the kidney, into the bladder, and is now stuck between the bladder and the outside world;
2) the stone (or some other process) has caused bleeding into the urinary tract, and a clot is now blocking flow out of the bladder;
3) you only have one functioning kidney (which is more common than you might think, and might be the case without your knowing it) and that kidney is blocked by a stone or other process.

Again, if you have produced no urine at all in a period of more than a few hours, you should go to the er for evaluation.

Water: Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless. This will help in passing the stone and prevent formation of new ones.

Here are some ...: All your described symptoms might result from the joint effects of the procedures, stents, medications, and anesthesia. But, you need to be checked for no UTI despite maybe of no fever. For the time being, drink more fluid, take pain med &amp; antibiotics (if any) as prescribed, but see Doc timely for more unbearable symptoms or questions. Best wish ...

Go to ER: If you are in pain and could have a renal stone, it is appropriate to go to the ER.

6mm kidney stone not passing-pain lessened but now very foamy bubbly (maybe sandy)urine after drinking lemon juice and vinegar-is this normal?

Bubbles: Foamy or bubbly urine is usually a sign of some protein in urine or a change in the PH of your urine (the vinegar and lemon juice).  If your pain has decreased, it is likely you have passed the stone.  6 mm is at upper end of size that you may pass on own, have your urologist recheck an X-ray to see if stone still present.  If it persists, there are ways for MDs to remove the stone.
