Relax: Blue veins on underside of tongue are normal.  As to necrotizing fasciitis, in over 50 years of dental training and practice I have not heard of even one case.  Your sublingual pain, however, should be investigated.  Scores of possible answers.  See your Dentist or an Oral Medicine specialist for examination.

Get examined: this sounds like oral icterus from liver illness.Since you did not provide a photo, it is impossible to diagnose. Go to see your physician ASAP

See your PCP.: It could be a bacterial infection and you need to see your pcp to get a swab of it.

Probably normal...: Veins carry low oxygen blood back to the heart and are darker in color than oxygen-rich blood. Shallow vessels are more obvious in color. A large superficial pair of tongue veins (ranine veins) are quite obvious on exam (see picture). Enlarged varicose veins at base of the tongue have been reported in some cases of liver disease. If these are new, simple exam and liver labs may be in order.

inflammed white vein from foreskin to head of penis. bluish purple prominent veins along the foreskin connecting to urethra. caused by trauma. when i press down on vein i feel discomfort. is this permanent and will diosmin topical cure the disease?

Veins in throat: Yes, this is relatively common. Some people have more of this than others just like there is variation in many things in different people. I would recommend seeing an ENT MD just to check it out and make sure is no concerns.

VEINS: Are usually dark in color as the blood in the veins has given up the oxygen, the reason for a darker color. Obviously, if one has problems with the heart, lungs, etc. Will make the blood even darker. See a physician if your blood in the veins is unusually dark in color or you have symptoms such as shortness of breath...
