for a month, ive been feeling wet by my anus. i thought it was fecal discharge and my doctors had me do colonoscopy preps thinking its constipation. doesnt work. it feels damp but when i touch it, i feel nothing. it smells too. whats wrong?

: You may be wearing underpants that are too tight, causing sweating. Also you may not be wiping all of your fecal out, causing all these problems.

Look and smell: It is likely to be sweat. You can know better by taking a look at the soiled clothing and may be by smelling it. Unless you are taking medication to limit fat absorption, anal leakage is unlikely at your age.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

It may also be due to excessive ingestion of nonabsorbable oils such as mineral oil. This may also be associated with poor absorption of fat soluble vitamins and should be evaluated by a physician.

Get an examination: It could be lots of things. Sometimes a discharge is related to hemorrhoids, or anal warts, or fistula. Sometimes it's related to decreased anal sphincter tone. It could be related to diabetes. Go see a colorectal surgeon for a specialty evaluation.
