Anxiety.and migraine: Migraines arm and worse by stress. Certainly if you have both a tendency toward anxiety, or even a diagnosable anxiety disorder, this can bring on migraines. Treating your anxiety may also help your migraines.

No,BUT: If your anxiety is at clinical levels this supplement is not FDA approved.  Supplements like this are not well regulated and it is hard to be sure what they say is in them really is.  If you try them, and they work for you as you want, great, but you would be better off seeing a therapist and working out your issues.   Anxiety can be treated.

Lichen Planus : I would look into diagnosis of Lichen Planus.  It is an autoimmune disorder that can affect any skin surface including cheek, tongue, and gums.  Burning tongue condition is very common.  Finding a trigger that sets off the disorder helps to control it.  No cure but are various therapies.  See dentist or dermatologist.

Yes.: It is possible to have chest pain daily due to chronic, severe anxiety. Anxiety has been associated w/ an increased risk of coronary artery disease and stroke in some studies. You should get evaluated and treated for your anxiety disorder and also seen for your chest pain to make sure you do not have an underlying heart condition.

Ativan (lorazepam): No, if you have been prescribed it appropriately.  Research shows that medicine plus psychotherapy are better together than either alone, so you might want to consider talk therapy as well if you are not already involved.

Best to taper very: gradually, say,  by one tablet every 2 weeks. However, if your anxiety recurs, then  it is recommended you stay on it. Pls confirm with your primary provider.

my grandmother takes xanax (alprazolam) 2mg three times daily for anxiety. is this excessive or in the normal range? what is the normal range?

Benzodiazepines: It is a big dose for an elderly person (or anyone else for that matter).  0.25mg TID would probably be more appropriate.  She can discuss with her doctor an appropriate tapering regimen.  Including an antidepressant/anxiolytic prior to weaning would be advisable because she may have exacerbation of underlying problem as she wean down.

i take 500 mgs of valerian daily for anxiety, but yet i feel it is stimulating me and interfering with sleep, i take it in the morning, so now what?

Don't take it!: People respond differently to herbs ; medicine ; some do have a paradoxical response to valerian.
