The "button" is a small bead on the end of the scope thru which electrical current passes which vaporizes and removes the tissue.

Many do: Pcos often interferes with fertility to some degree but effected women can and do have kids. It makes it a bit harder for you to control the where or when if you are not sure you are ovulating at a specific time. If you just let nature figure it out and don't worry about it it can happen (if your not using birth control).
