Very common: A ganglion on the finger is quite common. It is benign and does not require surgey. If you find it unsightly and/or if it is painful, you can have it removed under local anesthesia. The recurrence rate after excision is less than 10%.

You squeezed it and did it drain pus or blood or nothing .Get it checked from your doctor as you might need Anyibiotics and / or incision and drainage or if it is a cyst causing symptoms then it may need to be removed surgically
