i am undergoing oral surgery for the removal if a cyst in the roof of my mouth slightly above my front teeth.  what are the  possible causes. no pain, ?

Numerous casuses: And most are not painful. Most common is a dental abscess from a tooth with a necrotic pulp ("dead nerve"). Other sources can be dental ("supernumerary or extra" teeth), developmental--nerve cells trapped between the "joints" of the bones of the mouth, for example, or neoplastic (pre- or cancerous). It is important that your surgeon submit the tissues to an oral pathologist for microscopic eval.

got this cyst removed from roof of mouth. lab said it was benign. it grew back two weeks later. here are the pics. should i be concerned?

Somewhat: I can't see the pictures, but in any case, you should go back to whoever removed the cyst for an evaluation.

Soft lump: Evaluation and treatment by an ENT has been suggested.  Good choice.  I think a better choice, however would be an oral cavity pathology specialist, an Oral Surgeon.  Whatever path you choose, important to be seen now...don't put it off.

dentist says i have a mucus cyst on roof of mouth. i find myself constantly pushing on it with my tongue. will cause ear and jaw pain?

Mucus cyst: The para-functional movement of your tongue and jaw may be causing a muscle pain that can cause this type of pain.  Resist the temptation to play with the cyst and the symptoms may go away.

Mouth cysts: if they are hard and immovable on the midline then they are probably TORI.  This is benign overgrowth of bone.  Only need to be removed if they imping on eating or talking

Bleeding? : If your not bleeding your likely gonna be ok, if it is bleeding apply some gauze and see if it stops (give it 15-30 mins) if bleeding doesn't stop or gets worse call your doc.

Contact your Surgeon: Best to check with your surgeon. Until you are able to speak to your surgeon, avoid hot foods and beverages, spicy foods, citrus, and any other irritants. Cool water would be more soothing.  You may swish salt water. Speak with your surgeon for best direction.  If there is bleeding, apply pressure.  if it does not stop, and you cannot reach your surgeon urgently, then go to the ER.

i have swollen lymphatic tissue in the back of my throat and red spots with ulcers on mouth roof for 1-2 yrs and lately got purple veins in back throat also yellowish swollen spot on my tonsil like a cyst, shall i worry ?doctor couldnt do anything.?

: With those chronic findings your doctor should come up with a diagnosis even specific treatment is not indicated. If your doctor is not an ENT doctor then you should be referred to see one for a correct diagnosis. Good luck.

i constantly thirsty no matter how much water i drink . i also take re-hydrate. i have a sore throat, ear ache, dry mouth especially the roof of the mouth.  weeks now. i also have lower back and slight womb pain (cyst removed from  womb a year ago ?

"thirsty" ?'s: A "constant thirst" may be a symptom of adult onset diabetes (type 2), or simply still a result of inadequate water intake to overcome dehydration.  Ask your physician for a glucose tolerance test, and other testing to determine the cause.

Surgical excision: A cyst on the soft palate is usually due to a blocked minor salivary gland. The surgery is very simple and will require about 7 to 10 days to heal.It can be done with a general anesthetic so as to avoid your gag reflex.
