Well, in general those things will just drain into the surrounding subcutaneous tissue.....it may recur....it may not....if it hurts I'd use a bag of ice and take some tylenol (acetaminophen) as a First Aid measure....but there's really nothing much more to do than very conservative treatment. : Hard to know. Your description is vague at best. There are genetic conditions that give rise to sporadic tumors in various sites. I would seek out a medical geneticist, often found affiliated with medical school or children's hospital. They can review your findings and find a label for your condition.

Not likely: Fact it is causing pain means you are irritating it with movement (/ it irritates you as well). So short of putting wrist in cast for few weeks to allow it to quiet down...& no guarantee it won't immediately re-aggravate when resume movement of wrist...You will need to see a hand (/plastic) surgeon to have it drained (w/needle, but might recur) or formally removed.
